These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FI Jewelry website (the "Site") and any goods or services we provide, including custom jewelry orders, stock purchases, and the in-house financing program. By using the Site or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.
The Site is operated by XYZ Jewelry LLC, a California limited liability company ("FI," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site or place an order.
FI is a custom fine jewelry brand founded by Luke Andrew Cameron and Courtney Roy Lalor Jr. We design and sell custom pieces (rings, pendants, chains, bracelets, earrings, sets) made to order by our manufacturing partners, as well as a stock catalog of "Tier 0" pieces that ship within the week.
By submitting a consultation form, placing an order, accepting a quote, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that:
Stock pieces are bulk-sourced, ready-to-ship inventory. These pieces are listed with prices in the $35–$149 range, badged "Ships This Week," and ship within 3–5 business days of order confirmation. They include sterling silver and moissanite earrings, simple chains, and other entry-tier items.
Custom pieces are made to order based on your specifications. The process is:
All prices displayed on the Site are starting prices for representative materials and configurations. Final pricing is set in a written quote that takes into account the specific metal weight, stone type and size, setting complexity, finish, and any additional features (engraving, etc.).
A quote is valid for 14 days from the date sent unless otherwise noted. After 14 days, prices may be adjusted based on changes in material costs (precious metals and stones fluctuate).
An order is formed only when (a) you accept a quote in writing (email or signed agreement), and (b) the required deposit clears.
We accept the following payment methods:
All payments are processed through our payment partner Square. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
For orders of $150 or more, we offer in-house financing. The current terms are:
Financed orders are governed by a separate Retail Installment Agreement, which includes a Federal Truth in Lending Act (TILA / Regulation Z) disclosure. The Retail Installment Agreement, signed at the time of order, contains the legally binding financing terms and controls over these Terms in case of any conflict.
All orders ship via insured, signature-required carrier (USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx — depending on order value). Orders over $500 require a signature on delivery.
Standard turnaround times are:
Rush production may be available at additional cost — ask in your consultation. We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping may be offered on a case-by-case basis with separate terms.
Stock pieces may be returned for a full refund within 7 days of delivery, provided they are in unworn condition with original packaging and Certificate of Authenticity. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
All custom-made pieces are non-refundable. Because each piece is made to your individual specifications and cannot be resold, custom pieces cannot be returned for a refund.
If a custom piece has a material defect (e.g., a loose stone, broken clasp, or finish flaw) or does not match the agreed-upon specifications, we will repair or remake the piece at no charge if reported within 30 days of delivery.
If you simply change your mind about a custom piece's design, we are unable to refund the order. However, we will work with you to incorporate the existing piece into a future order whenever possible.
Every FI custom piece comes with complimentary lifetime cleaning and inspection. Contact us by email to arrange.
All materials we use are real — solid metals (10k–18k gold, sterling silver 925, platinum 950) and authentic stones (lab-grown moissanite, natural diamonds, and other gemstones as specified). Plated or filled pieces are clearly labeled when used (e.g., "gold-plated stainless steel").
Every custom piece ships with a Certificate of Authenticity stating the metal type, stone type and weight, and the FI order number.
All content on the Site — including the FI logo, the φ Fibonacci spiral mark, the italic FI wordmark, the brand color palette, photographs, copy, and original designs — is the exclusive property of XYZ Jewelry LLC. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use any of this content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
When you submit inspiration photos, design references, or your own ideas as part of a consultation, you grant us a limited license to use that content solely for the purpose of designing and fulfilling your order. You retain ownership of your contributed content.
Custom designs created collaboratively between you and FI are jointly owned for the purpose of the order, but FI retains the right to incorporate similar design elements into future pieces. You may not commission a third party to reproduce a unique design we created for you.
If you send us photos of yourself wearing an FI piece (or post them publicly tagging us), you grant us a non-exclusive license to share those photos on our website, social media, and marketing materials, with full credit. If you would prefer that we not use a specific photo, simply tell us and we will remove it.
The Site and our services are provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to provide accurate information about pricing, materials, and timelines, we do not warrant that the Site will always be error-free, that prices will not change, or that materials will always be available in the exact specification listed.
Photographs of jewelry are representative. Slight variations in stone color, finish, or size may occur in any handmade piece. We do our best to communicate these variations in pre-shipment photos and approval communications.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FI Jewelry, XYZ Jewelry LLC, and its members (Luke Andrew Cameron and Courtney Roy Lalor Jr) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or an order shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific order in question.
This limitation does not apply to (a) personal injury caused by our negligence, (b) fraud or intentional misconduct, or (c) any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FI Jewelry, XYZ Jewelry LLC, and its members from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
If a dispute arises between you and FI Jewelry, the following process applies:
You and FI both waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in any class action lawsuit related to these Terms or our services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes not resolved through the process in Section 15 must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or placement of a new order after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes that affect an existing order will be communicated to you directly by email.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed Retail Installment Agreement or other written agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and FI regarding the use of the Site and the purchase of our products. No oral promises or representations modify these Terms.
